DANNY GLOVER SPEAKS ABOUT THE LEGACY OF AFRICAN DIASPORA IN THE CARIBBEAN

Actor, producer and humanitarian Danny Glover has been a commanding presence on screen, stage and television for more than 30 years.

Glover has garnered respect for his wide-reaching community activism and philanthropic efforts, with a particular emphasis on advocacy for economic justice and access to health care and education programs in the United States and Africa. Currently Glover serves as a UNICEF Ambassador.

At UWI Glover spoke in a Conversations format with Vice Chancellor Sir Hillary Beckles to a packed audience about various topics including Reparation, his career, social change and Toussaint L’Ouverture. His Conversation took place at the UWI Law Faculty lecture theater and streamed live.
