Three words to describe your style?
Grimey, Honest, Self
Your personality type is?
I'm an observer I feel with my eyes, Artistic, Laid back, Low key, detail oriented, focused and blunt.
Your greatest skill is?
Binge watching Classic films
How’d you get into Art?
I grew up watching my uncle and my dad draw. I always tried to duplicate whatever they drew. As a kid I always said I wanted to be better than them, so I was consistently practicing to get better. To be completely honest I genuinely can't recall a point in my life where I wasn’t drawing or creating.
Do you have any tips for beginners?
No matter how much I grow as an artist I always see myself as a beginner:-
1. You're Never too good to learn something new
2. Don’t make up excuses, don’t be afraid to go out there and just do it. Your greatest enemy will always be yourself.
3. Be Original and honest with your ART. Understand that one of the only thing that's truly original or different in this world is you and what you feel . So put yourself and what you feel into your work, not what's popular or trendy.
4. Don’t compare yourself too much to other creatives. You're you, so be you.
5. Don’t aim for the "look", aim for the "feeling". Create art that’s close to your heart, creating something that looks good is easy, trying to make people feel something is a different story.
6. Aye…practice, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.
What turns you on?
If you could speak any foreign language fluently enough to write poetry in, which language would it be?
What’s integral to the work of a creative?
What role does the creative have in society?
See, depending on how I answer this, I might be setting some sort of unrealistic expectation of what an Artist is supposed to be. Creatives are free to do whatever they want…that's it. If I decide to paint bananas in various color skirts for the rest of my life, who can tell me otherwise? Nooobody. Creatives are a realistic representation of what FREEDOM is in society.
What's your hidden talent?
Who is the last person you texted?
The person you admire most?
I'd say my uncle Kaniel (aka Tinga) , He's been one of my biggest Inspirations since I was a kid. I don’t think I'd be the person I am today if he didn’t exist.
If you could give advice to a younger version of yourself, what would it be?
Bro, Stay true to who you are and how you feel don’t be moved by the opinions of others.
What do you do for fun?
Outside of creating, I'm probably a dryland tourist, that's when I'm not neck deep in work. If the location has water there, I'll probably go.
What’s your favorite app – Facebook, instagram, pinterest, twitter, snapchat or periscope?
What do you dislike about your work?
Nada, This is one of the only things that gets me high.
Should the arts be funded?
Yup. SPECIFICALLY In Primary and secondary schools. I genuinely feel like there's much more that can be done. Creating a solid foundation for children to build upon is the most important. Local artists have so much to offer to this world, all they need is the opportunity.
Favorite hotel in the world?
Don’t have one
If you had to have a last meal, what would it be?

The thing you most value?

The most valuable lesson you’ve learned?
Neva forget where you come from, facts.

Time Traveling…only to go back in time Though. Not to change anything either.
If you had to live in any other Caribbean island other than Jamaica, which would it be?
